Welcome to the Dîner en Blanc

It’s June 28, and in case you didn’t have the privilege to attend the annual and international highly anticipated and best-kept secret of NYC – otherwise known as Diner en Blanc, then let’s just say you missed out on a great event.

The concept started 25 years ago in Paris, France by François Pasquier and a few of his friends who decided to launch this great event. Since then over 15,000 people come together to celebrate this cool gathering.

How it works: No one knows the location until the very last minute. It is that super secret!

Suddenly, masses of people all dressed in white ( hence Diner en Blanc – translation: dinner in white) come out from nowhere and everywhere carrying their baskets full of goodies and ready for a magical and very entertaining night ahead.

P.s., who can say no to the after-party at Gilded Lilly’s?!

A few of the sponsors who assisted to make this night enjoyable for everyone included Celebrity Cruises, Perrier Jouet Champagne, Apothic wines – just to name a few.

Tickets are not sale per say, however, if you are a member you do have some leeway to attend.

There are other ways to join in the fun, however, becoming a member is your best bet.

This event has been quite successful and has taken over other major cities – and continues to magnify every year.
