Though Tennis does not officially serve up until August 31, the social agenda called for our attendance at the beautiful Langham Place Hotel located on Midtown East for the 2015 Party with the Pros event – subsequently following the Taste of Tennis.
Presented also by AYS, this is yet another fantastic way to continue the induction to one of the best sports hosted in New York City: Tennis!
For a couple hours, on August 29, guests and super fans had a very exclusive opportunity to meet, mingle, snap pictures while munching on delicious food and clinking glasses of wine, with their favorite Tennis players.
Since this experience matched an abundance of fun last year, it was the best decision to repeat it once more this year – and hopefully for more years to come – cross your fingers!
Delicious veggie quiches, bruschetta showered with shaved feta cheese, lobster tea ( yes), freshly shucked oysters prepared on site by beautiful waitresses – and so much more aced the menu for the night.
Beautiful shades of Rosé wine passed by as your senses try to adjust to the beautiful chaos of flashing lights from photographers and cell phone cameras as guests waited in line to indulge in selfies by the step and repeat banners.
Who was there? I know you’re dying to know. Drum Roll and here we go.
Similar to last year, the tall and beautiful Victoria Azarenka and handsome men’s Tennis player – John Isner made the guest honoree VIP list.
However, this year was a bit of change. In place of Agnieszka Radwanksa, Sloane Stephens and many others participated – including top chefs and high-profile media personalities.
You can’t ask for a better experience and introduction to get into the mood of Tennis.
Oh wait – let’s not forget the sinful Tennis themed desserts – sweet on your lips and forever on your hips – well worth it.
This is an incredible annual event and words can’t put anything in perspective until you have the opportunity to check it out live.
You know what you have to do. Click here for more information, and let’s Party with the Pros next year, together.
