It’s October 26, a lukewarm night in the big city. As New Yorkers prepare for the festivities for the upcoming party weekend, the week started off quite different on our end.
Guests arrived in town cars, taxis, UBERs and limousines dressed in gowns, fancy dresses, cocktail gowns and tuxedos at Pier 60 located at the Chelsea Piers.
By the look of things, it seemed as though everyone was prepared to meet the President.
Actually, it might as well have been that type of event, since over 400 leading names involved in politics, international business and relations, and peacemakers alike – attended to celebrate the Pursuit of Peace Awards Dinner, presented by the International Crisis Group.
The independent, non-profit and non-governmental organization started in 1995 and is dedicated to resolving international crisis and preventing deadly conflict around the globe.
During this special day, guests had the pleasure to celebrate the 20th anniversary over delicious drinks, dinner, and several moments of mingling while honoring elite guests who have contributed to the International Crisis Group as peacemakers in their own way.
