Fashion Awards 2.0: Celebrating Social Media

“Style is a way to say who you are without having to speak,” spoken by the incredible Rachel Zoe. This is a great way to kick-off our review after attending the 2014 Fashion Awards 2.0 at Merkin Concert Hall in NYC.Founded six years ago by Yuli Ziv with only a handful of people, Style Coalition started doing the awards as a way to introduce and merge technology into fashion.

If you have never heard of them – it’s similar to the Oscars but a little more amped because it honors the digital imprint in the fashion world.Though for us who may not be fashionistas or perhaps choose to carve new trends to showcase our individualism this event is perfect to find motivation and inspiration to become the best in the industry.

That said – here is the VIP roster for the night: Robert Verdi who served as the host, and other big names and presenters included Jeannie Mai, Zac Posen as the Keynote speaker, and the beautiful Coco Rocha who presented the last award of the night.

That’s right it was epic!
