Can you believe April is already over? In honor of celebrating a very beautiful day on April 30, we had a tasteful agenda to fulfill at the Metropolitan Pavilion West- the perfect space for this event.
We were getting ready to enter the venue as it hosted the 10th Anniversary Taste of Hope – a signature culinary, wine and spirit tasting event presented by the American Cancer Society.
Since it’s inception, ten years ago, the Taste of Hope tasting event has helped raise more than $1.3M and continues to assist the American Cancer Society in its efforts to eliminate Cancer.
This year was no different – as it promised and delivered more excitement.
After a quick check-in, the vibe and energy lured us in on the first floor, and we couldn’t wait to get on with the tasting, take tons of pictures, mingle, share our experience on social media – and, of course, be in the presence to support a good cause.
800 + guests attended the Taste of Hope and helped make it a huge success.
Participating restaurants included: Alidoro, Bareburger, Ben & Jack’s Steakhouse, Biricchino Restaurant, Bodega Negra at Dream Downtown, Bonne Fête Baking Inc., Bruce Cost Ginger Ale, Buddakan, Calle Ocho Restaurant, Carlo’s Bakery, Chef One, CHOCOL8 KISS, DAVIDsTEA, Delicatessen, Devocion USA, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Doc D Southern Desserts, Dos Caminos, FIKA, Greecologies, Kati Roll Company, Morris Tap & Grill, Paragon Tap & Table, Parkway Bakery & Tavern, Peanut Butter & Co., Prime Meats, Rock Center Café, Runner & Stone, Samosa Shack, Schatzie, Sensational Sauces, Serendipity 3, Sheraton Boston Hotel Sprinkles Cupcakes.

It seemed the only purpose was to answer one question: “where did you get that from? It looks delicious,” while transitioning from table to another and juggling several mini plates on each arm.
$200K (and counting) was the magic number raised and surpassed through corporate sponsorships, silent auction prizes ($21K), and guests purchasing the Birthday Candles the “official sponsor of birthdays.”
